I’m fairly new here, and I really need help with ordering a Pakistani style bridal lengha. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to go to Pakistan for my wedding shopping, and I don’t trust my family there to take care of this for me.
I need to get everything done here. I’m looking for someone that I can order a bridal outfit from. There are so many people that pop up on the internet and other places claiming they can make outfits, but I’m a bit skeptical to believe them. I was wondering if anyone here has any recommendations as to where they got their outfits made or maybe a friend or family member. Also, if they are local to the GTA area, that would be helpful as well. I also need someone that is pretty affordable and reasonably priced.
You can try Zaibi Jewellers in Brampton. I recently ordered my outfit for my sister's wedding from there. You can bring in a picture and adjust the colour/kaam to your taste. The lady there showed me a picture of a designer dress and the replica they made was just as amazing! You should definitely go there and ask to see any replicas they've made.
There is also Oriental Costumes in Mississauga - they sell bridal outfits. I'm not too sure if you can order a bridal outfit through them, but you can call and ask!
Hey I was totally in the same boat as you few months ago. My wedding is in a week now inshallah and I couldn't go to Pakistan either. As far as bridal goes, I highly suggest you buy yours from here instead of ordering it from Pakistan because 8 out of 10 times it most likley will not look like the picture of what you've seen (unless you have something specific in mind) Oriental Costumes has pakistani style lehnga's, otherwise gerrard isn't all that great because they carry old styles and nothing really pakistani. The rest of your outfits for your wedding you can buy from here, you can get some sewn too and save a lot of money that way (you can find really nice unstiched suits) and style them the way you want!
There is a lady in Hamilton, she has really nice clothes and they're all under $100 so well priced. I don't have her details at the moment, let me know if you'd like me to send those to you.

Yeah, I want to go with someone local, because as you said what you order and what you end up getting may look completely different.

you can order custom outfits from Oriental for sure. the lady there is really lovely but as with ordering from anywhere, the more specific you are, the greater the chance that your outfit will turn out how you want it.
i ordered my outfits from abida qureshi in markham. her number is 905 872 0000 or 905 472 0000 - i always get that one digit confused but try both numbers and ask for her. her sil in karachi is the one who makes the outfits, but she also has lots of bridals on hand that you could see and try on, and modify to suit you.
If you go to Zaibi Fashions in Brampton ask for Roohi or Sameena and tell them Muzna sent you.
If you go to Oriental Fashions in Mississauga ask for Arjumand or Mehnaz aunty and tell them Muzna sent you.
In both cases if you mention GupShup and my name you should receive great service and pricing. Do let us know if this is not the case.

Mine came from Pakistan, just something they made for me.... but like I said, it didn't look the way I thought it would but alhumdulillah I still like it very much. I'll find the details for the lady in Hamilton and PM you :)
Naz Fashion is over priced, she does have nice stuff but prices are way more then the worth of the clothing
