Actually I know of a couple in New York who did this. They started with having small gatherings with close friends and went onto bigger ones. Within a year, they had practically started a network :) They got so many people engaged and all. This was about 4-5 years ago.. I wonder what they are upto now.
what a cool idea.....finding a suitable boy is a major concern here in the US: hmmm I dont know abt the rest of ur states, but where I live a lot of the guys married back home....making it super hard for the girls here to find someone:)
I like this idea Shay--ppl get to know each other as friends, then the relationship develops:)
