Do they cash American Express Travellers checks in Pakistan’s large cities like Karachi & Lahore…can it be done easily these days?

Not sure about these days,but,otherwise,travellers cheques are easily redeemable at Habib Banks,isnt it?

*Traveler's cheque can be cashed at any Bank or Money Exchanger. And yes you can cash them easily at Lahore or Karachi. *

American Express seems to be difficult to cash?............is that right........too many fakes or counterfiets on the Market I hear!

I tried to cash TCs in summer in Lahore.... no takers!

I always travel with American Express Traveler's Cheque and I cash them on the Airport. And I'm from Lahore.

and Strandard Charter is on every cornor in all major cities in Pakistan, and they run Amex business in Pakistan. so dont worry

Seems to be the case ............recent developments........Lahore seems to have problems if you do not have local active bank accounts........

Karachi seems more of an international business center than Lahore.........

I notice in the past personal contacts always work............have special connections in Islamabad....:)
