What is the best place to buy wedding sets and other jewelry? From reading around it seems Dubai is the best for quality and price but when I read other reviews people say the Gold Souk is a tourist trap. From your experience where is the best value for money when buying jewelry(cities and stores)?

I’ve heard that Dubai Gold Souk is good but their designs arn’t all that…

hey i am in dubai... you can visit sharjah gold souk,Dfc and dubai mall they have so many gold shops

hi guys ... im in dubai ... lol dubai is a place to just buy pure gold .. no wedding sets unless you wana end up spending thousands on a fancy indian set .. i went last month and the month before .. you can look up the updated prices of gold everyday on Khaleej news website .. just google it ...
but tht being said .. sharjah gold douk .. dubai gold souk and all hardly have our kinda wedding sets with stones and/or beads ... i cudnt find one .. unless i want a semi previous stone one in 18k .. (they only come in 18 k gold) and so i have bought gold but will either have it modified or exchanged when i get to pk to match my outfit .. nonetheless .. the gold here is excellent!! damas has indian wedding sets but then again i cudnt find the proper jhomkas or what us desi girls like .. everyone might have their own opinion ..
the best place to go for gold is festival city in dubai .. and gold souk in sharjah! avoid arab/locals' shops .. they rip you off with the making .. approach a desi paki or indian shop !! itll work!

I am in Los Angeles and I have heard people say that buying jewelry in Dubai is worth it because it is often at least $1000 cheaper.

Thank you! I will tell my cousin to take me to the gold souk in Sharjah. I personally don't like stones and beads that much so maybe I will find something to my liking.
are there any specific jewelers you recommend at the sharjah gold souk?
