How was that experience and can you get something in the 1 lac range...I had gone personally to get my wedding lengha and got it for 2.5 lacs so I'm stressing if I'll find something for around 1000-1500 dollars...UGH so stressed
Look at the Bazaar Forum, there is a list of designers with their contact information and online websites. Please be carefeul though who you put your order through from. What about going to a bridal shop in a near by city or boutiques in your own city? Depending on your location, I might be able to refer a few places to you. Where are you located?
ash, are you in America? Try Sila (the website is sila dot com - I can't post the link) - if you don't find something in their catalog to your taste & budget email the designer, she is a Pakistani lady & is very helpful at working with customers. I have a custom suit from them that is just lovely.

I think 1 lac is quite an adequate budget for a bridal lehnga. Many designers customize and try to work within the client’s budget. Did you try to bargain with any?
u should better look for some home based designer to make it for you and ship it to you ..we have a lot of good home based designers on GS..you should look at the bazaar section
