Hey, here’s a novel idea, how about we tell people where we moved their threads or if we deleted them, with reasons preferably? I don’t know about you but it sure as hell does make more sense than me wasting my time looking around for it!
Sarah :)
We try to post a message every time we move a thread, however sometime mod or Admin doesn't have enough time to post a msg so we just move it.
As for your thread, chanda you're good with words but as you might have noticed not everything goes on GS, so if you could limit your objectionable words and keep corner room stuff there I'm sure no one will touch your posts. The thread in question was moved to review folder and it's not coming back, we got the message, and we'll try our best to inform you guys about your moved threads :)

I agree with Sarah. Its frustrating when u are looking for your post when its not there
Saba, I believe unwarranted and irresponsible use of profanity ought to be censored but vulgar language used to prove a point is, in my opinion, perfectly acceptable.
That said, I feel like a bitch for being so mean after seeing your smiles and all. Thanks, you're sweet. I'll lay off of words like dildo, underwear, *, and * from now on.
Blessed be,
Sarah
Ps. dutch_paki, yeah.

Sarah,
In a perfect world it would have been okay to use profanity to prove a point. We have members from all age groups, kids included they might not be able to read the message instead they'll only see the profanity. We need to maintain a standard therefore we can't allow profanity to prove any point. However at CR most of your posts should be safe :)
Waise Sarah this is a Pak site and majority of our members are Muslims with desi background 'we' can't easily accept your style, therefore you might be censored a lot more than others. I believe you're prepared for that, it's not personal and we definitely don't edit or delete posts because we personally don't like it. As said before you're good with words and you should keep posting don't change your basic style it's good, you just need to keep our acceptance level in mind if you don't want to be edited.
Regards
Saba

If a world is "perfect" why one need to use profanity?? Even if someone decide to use profanity why it is OK there????

Can you Please Visit Image section and take a look at "The Spice Of Life" Post and tell me what kind of sick standard is that?????????? Also, in the past I have seen moderator(s) posting their images while smooking !! and nobody had an objection to that!!!! So in a way they are giving messages to little kids, that it's cool to Smoke and Drink !!!!!!!
....kids included they might not be able to read the message instead they'll only see the profanity.
Hey if they are old enough to read and understand profanity, they sure can understand Ms.SS's message. Knowing todays kids, MS. SS's profanic words are just the tip of the Ice Berg for them.

The person you had a crush on in your adolescense , and who appeared curt and dismissive towards you, was merely playing "hard to get." This person continius to add to a drawer full of love letters written to you, but not yet sent.

Quasimodo,
Sometimes we are not mature or ready to read some literature, as you may already know. In a perfect world everyone would be allowed to say and write whatever he or she wanted to say or write in today's world this is hardly the case right? Now in the perfect world IF profanity was accepted as an important part of language no one would have problem with it and we would not have to waste time editing/deleting it.

Ehhh? There are pictures in that thread which are not against any GS or forum policy. Btw. in case you have objections regarding Image Gallery did you mail a complaint to forum mods? Try that next time they may consider modifying the rules no one is perfect we could easily have missed some important points. As for mods pictures, if nobody had objection to those pictures then I don't see the problem. No one from GS team can or will dictate other team members about their personal lives.

You have no idea what this thread was about right?
Profanity is not allowed at Gupshup, end of discussion!

:D U were right that there s a limit to things, but that kids c people smoking inhere and thats a bad example ???. thats not true. Kids dont get influenced so easy and specially and if the get influenced they get that from their direct invironment, not from some people who want to look 'dop' or something.
But back to the topic, if the moderators delete a post, the should give direct a message to the person who posted that.
In my opinion
people should know the rules of the forums by now, or should visit them again to refresh their memories.
My understanding was that vulgarity is not accepted.
Re: Where the **** is my thread?
Dear Ms Sarah Splendor,
Thankyou for such a novel idea. The administration do pay heed to suggestions by guppies and they try to implement them. After 4 years of hardwork the tech admins have devised a system just as suggested by you.
I hope now you can find exact location of your posts and thread. be blessed
God Bless administration for listening to members and solving their problems :Salute:
