@lifeless: indeed unless this in-dependency is to be thoughts as an option for betterment and NOT an option just to show his superiority over her husband, as it should be same for husband or at least what women demands.

unfortunate enough we still live in a world where they marry a girl with Quran , SATTI a women when husband dies , and ban a women to wear any colored clothes or wear make up when she is Baiwa , Some people even start calling her Unlucky and manhus ,
I seriously think some time what would a girl do If her husband passed away at young age to satisfy her sexual needs because she is not allowed by Society to remarry when ISLAM demands us to marry a Baiwa quicker then an Unmarried girl.

What happens after. Oh right so you mean preparation for it, but can you say what can happen during it (during the tenure of marriage)? Why not preparing for that? If you say what happens after it then I think Spock has right not to even go for a marriage, as no one think what may happen during it. either before or after the husband is gone.

I agree with the majority of people. If able to, she should live on her own if not, then her parent's home is the second best option.
