There is no point living with in-laws both Islamically and socially.

If she does not have a source of income and inlwas want to help, they can still help her. Only if she does not have any place to go (her parents passed away etc), then she should stay with inlaws but keep on looking for place to move.

What if the inlaws say that she has their grandchild so she should stay with them ?
