I remember there were protests in Morocco (half or one million turned out here I remember) and Turkey as well.

Don't muddy the water with truth and hard facts, this is piffle when countered with mealy-mouthed chamchay focussed on a mission.
your powerlessness is pitiful. Take comfort in knowing that muslims are waking up and realizing that the onus is on them to correct the horrible violent tendecies of many muslims. This will hasten the inevitable victory over Islamic fundamentalism.
^ my goodness why don't they show these pictures on those media outlets called CNN or Crap sorry i mean Fox news, reality to much for th amerikkans to handle.
Just show GI Joe firing a missle giving a thumbs up, this is the average amerikkkans knowledge of what it means when you go to war
"Guys visit this site to remind yourselves what members above are trying to ignore."
At least some of those people (in iraq) must be thinking-'you guys are in my country,my town and are threatning me in my backyard when we have done NOTHING whatsoever to justify your presence.
**Despair In Iraq Over Forgotten
Victims Of US Invasion
Iraqi officials demanded to know yesterday why so little international attention was being given to their numerous dead as the US mourned the death of 1,000 soldiers since the invasion of Iraq
The US army does not count the number of Iraqis killed since the invasion in March 2003. The most conservative figure for the number dead is 10,000 as calculated by private groups. It is rising every day. .**
What makes you so certain that non-Muslims only care about non-Muslims?
Cable news channels reported yesterday that there have been about 11,000 Iraqi civilians killed in this stupid war… and that the Pentigon doesn’t tally civilian deaths.
The problem is not with most non muslims sure you have right winger nutcases in da States, but real problem is with governments like the US administration and British Government these are the real problems for people.
The Amerikkkan government even sends there young boys to an early grave in Iraq and Afghanistan and they don't even give a damn.
All this hoo haa about Amerikkan pride and the US administration does everything for its people is really a lie, if benefit is involved the US government is more than willing to sacrifice its own just meets its poltical objective!
Perhaps you hear no whispers from non-Mulsims that “this genocide is wrong” because there is no genocide occuring. The deaths of 11,000 people caused by “car bombs, clashes between Iraqis and coalition forces, mortar attacks, revenge killings and robberies” out of a population of 22+ million doesn’t fit the definition.
Article II of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide states as follows:
** "In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group. " **
Since none of the car bombings, revenge killings, mortar attacks or battles between coalition and non-coalition forces are intended to destroy a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such," there is no genocide. In fact, since most of the innocent Iraqi civilians are dieing at they hands of the foreign Muslim terrorists or other Iraqis, the charge of genocide is simply ignorant.
If you want to see the usual non-Muslim suspects express sympathy for the innocent Iraqis who have died and will continue to die (as long as people like you support the actions of terrorist thugs simply because they are Muslim and shoot Americans too), then open a real thread seeking such expressions of sympathy for and solidarity with the Iraqi people.
MyVoice, "Genocide" is a newly fashionable word, even when you don't know what it really means. Googling "conflict" and "genocide" and comparing and contrasting the two is apparently too difficult for the silver-spoon lefties....

What sort of people are you, do you only care about non-Muslims? The US is responsible for so much murder and mayhem in Iraq, yet the non_Muslims don't even whisper that this genocide is wrong.

Where were you and other Muslims when the murder and mayhem in Iraq was NOT the reponsibility of non-Muslims? If you are really concerned about genocide then why don't you weep for Sudan, which is the acknowledged genocide happening today? tsk tsk sadly lacking condemnation as usual.
OG:
Let me say this in terms that even Gupshup's resident diplomats can understand:
I have to protest genocide in the strongest possible terms wherever it occurs!. However, I am glad that we have had these FRANK discussions in this thread so that we might clear the air on what does and does not constitute genocide.
Can somebody get me a coffee and a donut??? Where the heck are all the interns?
^ Let it be noted that not ONE of our American posters have condemned the massacres of tens of thousands of innocent muslims at the hands of the invading American and British forces in Afghanistan and Iraq. Says it all. Is it an eye opener, not really, we knew this all along. It was as the great leader Rumsfeld says "collateral" damage.
