where is soul?

can any one tell me where is soul?
i mean which part of the body is called or contain soul?

Re: where is soul?

I would think that the soul is wholly in each part of the body. Meaning it fills each part of your body.

Peace secular

The part that makes the distinction between whether a person will wake up after being resuscitated or not wake up.

Science shows that Movement, Respiration, Sensitivity, Growth, Reproduction, Excretion and Nutrition are the signs for life ... if a dead person is made to synthetically mimic these conditions then the difference between an alive and a dead person becomes harder for science to define.

The difference of course is the soul being present. Science will view the soul as the error in the 7 characteristics of life. Or the assumption that has to be made.

***Good Question!

The soul resides in our body................the eye for the soul is the pineal gland:

*****The pineal gland was called the "third eye" by ancient people. It was thought to have mystical powers. This may be why the French philosopher Descartes decided that the pineal gland was the seat of the human soul, the location of what we call the mind. The pineal does contain a complete map of the visual field of the eyes, and it plays several significant roles in human functioning.

So it can be assumed when asleep a person see's all their dreams through this eye to the whole Universe!

there is also a video on U tube about this theory.

this is interesting.

Re: where is soul?

The way to test this is to see if there is a change in the pineal gland of an alive person to one who is dead but on life support.

The pineal gland acquires tumours and can be removed through surgey giving some odd affects to the patients but it does not kill them.

In fact, the pineal gland is the “third eye” of the brain, and is responsible for telling the brain when it is day or night. It also controls the body’s hormonal systems, sleep-wake cycle, and other so-called “circadian” body rhythms. It is in essence, the body’s internal clock

For something to qualify as the physical centre of the soul it needs to have the following as a minimum:

  1. If removed the host dies
  2. Measured difference in activity between dead, sleeping and awake people
  3. Distinct difference between animals and humans

Abdullah ibn Mas`ud was once walking with the Prophet when some Jews asked him about the soul. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood silent and gave no reply, and Abdullah realized that he was being given a revelation, so he stood quietly beside him. The revelation given was:
**
[They ask you about the soul. Say: “The soul is by the commandment of my Lord, and of knowledge you are given only a little.”]
