Does anyone know where is talented musician Sohail Rana ? I last saw him performing in SAF games 89 at Islamabad. After that I never saw him on TV. I would appreciate If someone give me latest update about him ?

Nowadays, Sohail Rana resides in Toronto, Canada. He operates two music schools and he is also working diligently to establish a multi media company in Toronto. He takes active participation in music compositions as well.

AS WE SPEAK ON SOHAIL, WE ARE REMINDED OF PERVEZ MALIK WHO LEFT US FOR HEAVENLY ABODE--YESTERDAY--IN ISLOO AT THE AGE OF 75.
THE FAMOUS FOUR; SOHAIL RANA - WAHEED MURAD - PERVEZ MALIK AND MASRUR ANWAR, LITERALLY RULED THE PAKISTAN FILM INDUSTRY---TILL IT WAS AN INDUSTRY BEFORE ITS SAD DEMISE ON SHIFT OF FILM ACTIVITIES TO LAHORE!
SOHAIL RANA WAS EVER POPULAR ON PTV WITH HIS PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AS WELL....WHICH EXTRICATED SPECIAL MESSAGES FOR YOUTH FOR A VERY STRONG PAKISTAN WE WANTED TO BE THEIR GLORY...!
SOHAIL IS MY FAMILY FRIEND OF EARLY 70's..
HIS WIFE QANDI GUL IS THE SISTER OF THAT BEAUTIFUL AIRHOSTESS MOMY GUL WHO WAS ON BOARD THAT PIA's UNFORTUNATE (INAUGURAL) FLIGHT TO CAIRO IN 1963... WHICH CRASHED MINUTES BEFORE LANDING.
SOHAIL HAS ONE SON....(MUST BE A GROWN UP WORKING MAN NOW) OF POSSIBLY 35-38 OF AGE!
I HOPE TO MEET HIM IN TORONTO--COMING DECEMBER---AFTER 1978.

Latif has not been keeping well..but allhamdoulillah...he is hale & hearty and moves around now.
Masooma is doing well too...though sporadic and thin appearance in plays etc.
Their daughter TEHMINA married to Khaled Anam..is now the Chief Editor of THE MAG of Jang-Group.
Their son DINO who has been a VJ at MTv and Indus Music with Anoushey Ashraf---is now a leading DJ at an FM channel. Quite a popular lad.
Masooma and Lateef live in DHA-V, Karachi happily!
