OK OK serious answer:

He was not considered because of his attitude and his bad influence within the team plus his performance during the tour of England was nothing to shout about. He is consdered by many to create divisions within the team and it affects the team morale and unity. as a player he is average.

The absence of Shoaib Malik is one of the best things to happen to Pakistan cricker over the past 12 months. He is a mediocre player at best and his general attitude and tendency to indulge in groupbaazi is bad for team unity and harmony

He is a non-state actor, a siyasi adakar and we are better off without meesna characters like him

but i am surprised to hear all this about him. he always looked obedient and innocent i mean someone who wouldnot create pangge, groupbaazi and fuss. anyhow god knows the rest.

What a disappointing thread. On the one hand we all celebrated when he conquered Hyderabad. Pakistan’s minister for family affairs gave receptions in his honour. I believe he was nominated for tamgha e imtiaz. There were congratulation threads here, and mithai boxes were DHLed across countries to members (go back and read the forum back then) for free by senior forum members. Some people suggested we rename the Ghauri missile. And now, just because its old news, we have no loyalty to him anymore. Nobody seems to think that the fact that he married Sania Mirza should get him some benefit of the doubt.. instead its all about cricket for you guys.

^^ I think some of that was done here on GS to promote bilateral respect and trade (shaadi) - not due to his cricket…So of us were like anyways on the whole thing..

and Indian media helped make it a BIG event.
