I was talking to my Abu in Pakistan and he was commenting that Shaukat Aziz may have Left the country. If that were to hapen , I would really think that its really bad for Pakistan. He was one of the best things that happened for Pakistan’s Economy.Anybody ead about his where abouts recently?

People in the other thread have said that he is indeed out for now...don't know if its permanent.

When an allegedly neutral caretaker government was put in place to run the country until the elections, Shaukat Aziz, as a member of Musharraf's old guard from the previous government, had to leave office as well. If he stayed the caretaker government could not possibly claim to be neutral and there would be wide open claims the the government influenced the election.
So regardless of whether or not he left the country, Shaukat Aziz is currently not in a position to set policies, and so it doesn't matter if he's left or not.
And as the PML-Q will have to make a coalition with the PPP if it is to be in government after the election, Shaukat Aziz knows he won't be in power again. SO I'm not surprised if he has left the country to resume his older, more lucrative, and less reviled career.

PML-Q is in no state to make a coalition with PPP. PPP will make a coalition with PML-N, thats how the story goes.
I have no current proof to back my statement, but If elections are held free and fair we will have PML-N and PPP all over.

With PmL nawaz Sharif sect and PPP, both are full of corrupt hooligans just all ready to drain the country resourses for their own good. At least he was doing good for the country's economy. I just wish more and more well educated pople like him would take care of our country rather then all the shady politicians from all the chaks/fuedal families etc.
