Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

Seriously, No word from them apart from barring their airlines to Peshawar!!!

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

Saudis Arabia beheaded a Pakistani today for smuggling heroin into SA.

So instead of getting him help because usually these guys have drug problems themselves they executed a punishment that even Quran has not prescribed. And that too when Pakistan is mourning over Peshawar.

What a nice way of showing they are with us. Can Pakistan please hang their agents causing death in Pakistan?

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

^^

This should be enough for us, Saudi funded Madarassas are the one of the evil we have, Kuwait, Saudi, Qatar and UAE have huge number of wealthy sheikhs who consider it their religious duty to fund terrorists and ENJOY with maximum number of girls...

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

We cry for Gaza every time it is bombed. I have palestinian friends who have not even mentioned anything and are posting happy pics of their good times.

I have not seen or heard anything from the palestinian authority either.

?

Really?

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

Law of the land.

When a person knew that this was the outcome he deserves it.When a person did not know this was the outcome, still law of the land is applied. That is this is a warning to others.

You can not bring his beheading with that of carnage.

he was trying to indulge in a business will destroy many generations.

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

Hang that b@st@rd without delay

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

The Saudis are ****s and the ones that fund the Taliban. They don't get a flying * what happens to us.

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

speaking of saudia rabia...i was talking to a pakistani diplomat friend yesterday who told me that PMLN will not take any serious actions against toxic madrassas, and terrorists supporters due to too much pressure from saudi arabia...most of hard core fundamentalist madrassasa in Pak belong to wahabi, deobandi and ahal hadees sect and are ideologically tied to saudi arabia... and therefore Saudi rulers are under deep pressure from fundamentalist religious clerics and sheiks in their country....vicious cycle

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

May I tell you something?

May sound offensive but no other option.

There was widespread protests across India over the Peshawar carnage.Social media and mobile apps like whatsup all are filled with remonstrations. But there is a general feeling among the public that nothing is going to change in Pakistan and various agencies will be still in collusion with these radicals and terrorists.

Continuing in denial means more such acts from these people.

I could only find statement from Saudi grand mufti in daily ausaf.
Same old whipping the dust of the turnips kinda statement.
UAE royals must be busy in banned hunting in Pakistan.

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

They are funding their terror ideology & terrorists get inspiration from them. Taliban may have killed over 50k Pakistanis and countless more around the world, but Saudis are equally responsible funding this terror factory.

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

I saw saudi grand mufti’s statement on some pakistani channel, dont remember which one.

But this is wut i found on wiki page:

2014 Peshawar school attack - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Saudi ArabiaGrand Mufti Abdul-Aziz ibn Abdullah Al ash-Sheikh condemned the attack describing it as “corruption, injustice and aggression.” He further added that "It’s appalling to see many people being killed in Muslim countries these days and this should wake up Muslims as it’s a dangerous action and a big crime.”

Not sure why Sheikh Rasheed is tagged in this thread but heard he’s in a coma for IK’s announcement to finish dharna.

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

Where is Ch. Nisar, the Federal Minister of interior? Is he still hiding in a rat-hole? Isn't his responsibility to tell Pakistanis that how his department completely failed to save the lives of children and adults?

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

Laws of the land can be unfair and unfairly target people. Why is it mostly Pakistani or foreign nationals that have been targeted? Do we know if the trials are fair and if they are coerced into taking these drugs. Many times Saudis are caught with drugs but why no such brutal punishment. How do you know they are not taking the fall for a Saudi drug dealer. Why would someone from a poor family do this if they know the punishment?

Why can’t this be brought in? Lot of Pakistani and Indian migrants go to Saudi arabia and UAE to build their cities..and one sole condemnation by a Sheikh is not enough. This is one of a number of examples of unfair discrimination. The law banning Pakistani women marrying Saudi men being another.

Families mourn drug mules beheaded in Saudi Arabia - Pakistan - DAWN.COM

Broken dreams

Four years ago, Haq said, two men came and said that for $2,000 they would get Irfan plane tickets and a visa for the Gulf — for many poor Pakistanis, a passport to a better life.
Irfan sold his rickshaw and wife’s jewels and his tea-seller father made up the rest of the money.
The two men then took Irfan to Karachi, Pakistan’s largest city and a key transit point for heroin from Afghanistan. But in Karachi, things turned sour, Haq says.
“The two men changed and told him they would kill him unless he did what they wanted,” Haq told AFP. “After that they forced capsules of heroin into his anus.“
Irfan was put on a flight to Saudi Arabia by his new masters. On arrival in Riyadh he was stopped by customs officers and after a brisk trial, condemned to death.
Pakistan is full of stories about drug mules, but they are little discussed in public and get little sympathy.
One Pakistani official told AFP that “in most of the cases the sentence or the punishment is justified.”
Rights group Amnesty International says Saudi Arabia uses the death penalty disproportionately against foreigners, particularly those from South Asia.
Since 1985 around half of 2,000 people executed in the kingdom have been foreigners.
The Justice Project Pakistan (JPP), a human rights law firm, has begun trying to get Islamabad to defend them.
“These prisoners are very poor men who have been sold a chance to escape and make something of their lives,” Sohail Yafat, a JPP investigator, told AFP.

Saudi Arabia’s legal system is hardly fair and transparent. Saying law of the land is like saying blasphemy laws are laws of the land so whoever they punish is fair and they deserve it. Or the Hudood ordinances that can result in a raped woman being trialled and jailed for adultery is fair.
Not all laws are fair. This article is old but shows it is an ongoing issue.

Secret Saudi executions shame the West - News - The Independent

Del Ferouza Delaur, a Pakistani girl executed two weeks ago, was reportedly unaware that heroin had been smuggled into her baggage when she was arrested by Saudi security police.
She was what the authorities call a “mule”, an innocent person set up by drug smugglers to carry narcotics. But she was publicly beheaded in the Saudi port city of Jeddah on 25 September.
Occasionally, Saudi authorities have released brief announcements of the execution of women but have never revealed how their sharia courts reached their verdicts, nor why they could find no extenuating circumstances for the instances of husband-murder. Two of the women executed in the Gulf contended - as Sarah Balabagan has done in Abu Dhabi - that their victims had attempted to rape them.

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

Yes really. Because it doesn't matter. A terrorist is a terrorist, be they Jew or Muslim. Be they flying F-15s or strapping on suicide vests.

We're right to be angry....then and now.

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

true and i don’t think the OP was saying otherwise. I think she condemns terrorists regardless of religion. She is just wanting to know of similar solidarity when tragedy happens in Pakistan. I don’t think it is much to ask or expect. There should be such protests against Taliban in all Muslim countries like there have been candlelight vigils/protests in West and elsewhere.

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

http://english.alarabiya.net/en/views/news/world/2014/12/22/On-Arab-indifference-toward-the-Peshawar-massacre.html

On Arab indifference toward the Peshawar massacre

When news of the school massacre in Pakistan’s Peshawar first surfaced as breaking news, it appeared exaggerated and unreal. One’s mind is sometimes incapable of believing or rather rejects immediately recognizing that these are facts and that someone has really decided it’s time to collectively murder children in cold blood.

The students of the Peshawar military-run school were not coincidentally targeted. They did not get killed during a battle among fighters but they were the target of the attack and they were thus pursued in their classrooms, under their seats where they tried to hide.

Did the madmen of the Taliban movement really think that murdering these little souls is their way to heaven?
Is there anything worse for a parent to realize that their children’s most important gathering place - i.e. the school - has become their little ones’ graveyard?
Hours passed

The first few minutes and then hours passed as we waited for Arab media outlets to follow up on the Peshawar tragedy considering it’s firstly a humane catastrophe and secondly a Muslim one and it’s thus worthy of dedicating all live feed to report on it.*For some reason, the horrible tragedy in Peshawar failed to interest the Arab media and public opinion as it should have
*
Diana Moukalled
However, this didn’t happen. We were rather disappointed by the Arabic coverage of the crime and we switched to following up on the incident on the world’s different satellite channels.

Yes, the news was broadcast in Arab news segments, dailies and websites and the degree of interest in the news varied. But what appeared like the general pattern is that the tragedy did not take the attention which such a crime with this amount of drama deserves. It wasn’t only media outlets who didn’t perform their duties on the matter but the general Arab and Muslim public opinion was very cold regarding incident, not to mention lazy and numb. Hashtags on Twitter, for example, did not include the Peshawar school within the trending hashtags. The souls of 150 children killed in the name of Islam did not become material for Arab discussion even as the world all stood in solidarity, dedicated its media outlets coverage to the news and offered its condolences. Some even began to criticize the Western media’s interest in the case and categorized this coverage as targeting Islam.
Horrible tragedy

For some reason, the horrible tragedy of Peshawar students whom the Taliban criminals in Pakistan killed failed to interest the Arab media and public opinion as it should have.
**
Of course, the reason is not necessarily linked to the massacre but the problem lies in that deep defect within us. We scream and lose our temper over a caricature here and a song there. We, despite this, were not outraged that an organization like Taliban killed dozens of children.
**
What interprets our weak interest in this tragedy is tragic on its own. There are Muslims who killed Muslims so there’s nothing that interests us here. The murderer must not be Muslim in order for us to be outraged. Perhaps if the murderer had been Muslim and the victims were non-Muslims, we would’ve cared about what happened to Yazidi children or about what happened in the Russian school of Beslan ten years ago.

The stark truth is that those who kill Muslims are themselves Muslims. This is an ironic fact that does not seem to upset us!

Pakistan is still bleeding due to policies of mardood general. Had he not involved in CIA game of jehadis, Pakistan would have been still a safe country to live.

Re: Where is Saudi, UAE & Sheikh Rasheed?

So?

Just because there are Western Media reports and other stuffs, should I ignore the laws there? It is the law of K.S.A that drug trafficking is punishable by death.Anyone who becomes part of it knowingly or unknowingly is supposed to bear the fruit. It was almost the same in Singapore till an year ago but a few leniency is shown now after some amendments.

Western media can say.But it is the law of land there.I respect it.

It is the Sharia law.My rules will run in my house. All occupants and all guests are supposed to follow it’s rule.Simple as that.
