I have poted a thread on “Top most visited sites of Pakistan regarding subscribers” . had two replies on tht, saying its against the policy to post external links on GS which still i could not understand and how can you share ur views and information with such kind of restriction. anyways i asked to email me or PM me the information but now i dont see my thread at all. Please can u ppl be lil generous. and plz if i messed up with any policy can u plz tell me where and what did i do wrong.

Did you read the terms of agreement for becoming a member on GUPSHUP? If not, I suggest you do that.
Well Faisal, I did read them and I’ve read them again. I don’t see any rule like that. is it really a part of policy, I mean not letting the external link to be part of the forum. It should have been written somewhere explicitly.
btw I don’t see any harm in it. I have been to lots of forums before and I like the massive activity on this forum and I cognates the whole team and participants "guppies" on it. but u see when i need some kind of information which I think can be obtained from this forum without having any problem for forum/anyone neither breaking any rule/policy I should have it. and btw what's problem in giving link/information on top most visited sites if anyone/website has this information.
Actually, I am working as marketing manager in a MNC which recently shifted their focus to local content and I am building a marketing campaign for their new project. I need this information. And I am still looking forward for any help.
