he appears to be moving decisively in the opposite directionIn a series of moves in recent weeks the army has strengthened its grip on the nascent democratic system, creating a new political crisis at a time when the country is still facing the threat of terrorism, sectarianism and Islamic extremism.
A reluctant Mr Jamali was forced to introduce a bill in parliament to set up a 13 man National Security Council, which will ensure the military retains control of all strategic policy making in the country.
The bill was bulldozed through the National Assembly becoming law on 14 April.
With an opposition boycott and no debate, the bill took just three and a half minutes to pass through the senate.After several cabinet ministers close to the army requested him not to step down from the military, General Musharraf threw the whole country into doubt when he told the BBC’s Hard Talk programme that he was still undecided as to whether he would relinquish control of the army.

Did you notice Ch.Sujjaat's work as PM. He has decisive power.He is not waiting for dictation from Per.Musho Bahi(PRESIDENT). To be PM one should have abilities to take initiative. Our BHOLE BHALE JAMALI only had sharafat and innocence. KHUD QUETTA MEY , new wanna port, which is in their province, people were being killed he could not even raise voice. I( am sure even Pr.Musho is also not happy to remove him). But this is not love affair post that WE SAY THAT PRESIDENT HAS DONE bewafai; WITH JAMMALI SAHAB. BECHARE CH.SUYJJAAT KAFI ANDHEY HEIN WERE NA REYSAKTEY THEI PM OR PR HEMAYOUN AKHTAR ARE STILL IMMATURE; LESS QUALIFIED THEN SHUAKAT azzo bhai. SO ACCEPTTHE REALITY ON SKY. WAIT AND SEE. wHY SHALL WE ALL HAVE PRECONCEIVED idea about MUSHOO(PRESIDENT) that what he is saying is not true; that he is not trying to fix other form of democracy.
Is it sin to be in millatary? One does not stay Pakistani, you want to take his right to be called as Pakistani. Is he so bad verses illetrate -----pieces of meats who just keep on shouting PAkistan ko khatra, Islam ko Khatra, Passimastic log. To be passimastic is a sin. Wait may be President fixes every thing right. He is the first and the only one whose stomach is full with money. No greed.
