Over, on top, high, over, on top, high, over, on top, high, over, on top, high. Lather, rinse, repeat. All three of those descriptions having something in common. The bottom line is that they indicate an upward direction and another feature they have in common is a throne. I don't find it difficult to reconcile myself with that. Now is Allah confined to a certain place or is He everywhere? Maybe I am just wayyy too simple-minded because somehow even that matter is not a source of contention for me. Among His attributes is that He is Al Baseer (All-Seeing)....and As-Sami (All-Hearing)....and Al-Khabeer (All Knowing). So He has an awareness of everything and of all directions. His knowledge encompasses "everything" and so "everywhere" is not out of His reach. Whether His knowledge of everywhere is obtained from a confined location or otherwise is not something that I am consumed by. The bottom line is that "everywhere" belongs to Him and I think that is more important than knowing the mechanism.
All one has to do is touch your Shah rug i.e. Jugular *vein!
