karachi
food is pretty much the same as other parts of pakistan. but what i liked the most in pakistan and miss the most is the mangoes. also there is this fruit called Faalsay which is like tiny purple colored berries which are very yummy. i have never seen them outside pakistan.
sadly, mugging on gun point during broad daylight for cellphones and jewlery is pretty much unique to karachi. i have lived in punjab as well, but never witnessed such things.
for rich people, its cars. for others its bus. when i was there, bus system was actually pretty good. rickshaws are available too but can be expensive.
beaches. karachi is close to many different beaches.
