where in canada

My brother in law wants to apply for canadian immigration from the gulf. He is in Oman. He has been a business manager for about 20 years.
He has a pakistan MA or something…
so he is wondering whether to apply for BC (Vanc.) or (Alberta - Calgary) as the wait for toronto is too long…
any thoughts …
PM me if anyone has serious advice …

Re: where in canada

ALberta and Clagery offers better job opportunities and the residental rents are very moderate :)

Re: where in canada

They offer jobs in Oil and gas industry. rents are not moderate atall.CND1000 rent for two room condo ..... i dont think its moderate.even the basment suits are going for atleast atleast 800-900.

Re: where in canada

fo real:confused: , pardon me for that then:bummer:. that’s what i have heard from a lot of people that it’s way better and cheaper then toronto

Re: where in canada

Re: where in canada

Residental prop is not cheaper anymore.grocery is expensive then toronto.Things will be more expensive once Keystone Oil Pipeline project is on its way.

^^ Tussi pind to ayii ho?

Re: where in canada

I'd move to an area outside Toronto, withing 100-150km radius. There are alot of job oppurtunities for business managers in Niagara Falls, particularly, the tourism industry. The cost of living is very cheap, compared to Toronto. A house with a decent land value which costs $400,000 in Mississauga (suburb on the outskirts of Toronto) will cost you appr $200,000 - $250,000 in NF. The rents are cheaper, the city is cleaner & safer, and is appr. 45-55 minutes drive from Toronto.

Re: where in canada

Go calgary or Vancouver, Or even montreal
Toronto is becomming tooooo crowded for comfort
Escalating unemployment, declining living standards

Re: where in canada

^^ Actually unemployment overall hasn't changed much for the longest time in GTA. People have been layed off - but it basically requires them to change career. Harsh but at least they are not unemployed.
Even in IT lot more opportunities popping up.

Crowded it is though.
