hey ladies.. its js to gt ur opinion, view point abt "where my periods have gone " sorry ths is the title rush to me .. i delivered my baby almost 5 months ago n since thn no sign of menstuation, i mean no mensus… it was a planned c-sec, before my girl was born thru emergency c-sec but paeriods came right after 40 days.. wt shd i do? consult doc?

Are you still breastfeeding? I'm still breastfeeding and its been 9 months and my periods have still not returned. I remember reading that it is not uncommon for some women to go a whole year without their period after the birth of their baby. Sometimes it doesn't return until baby is 18 + months. Oh and don't go based on the last time. It is different with every baby. Your baby is only 5 months. Is there any reason you want them to return? Planning another baby already? lol

Dont mean to boycott your thead but are you taking any vitamins etc?
I started pregnacare conception about a month ago and have not had my period since then; did some research on google and apparently pregnacare does that to some women. Has anyone else had such an experience? Currently im not in town so can only go to a doc once I return. I've been getting low abdominal cramping too but no other symptoms...:s

Yeah I think I should...But besides the low abdominal cramping which comes and goes and isnt really much to complain about, I dont have any symptoms..:s

Just curious, if you are not planning another baby, then why do you want your periods to come back?

With the first kid, i was period-free until the baby turned 6 months old.
With this second one… its almost 7 months and counting, no signs of periods.
Both of my babies are/were almost exclusively breastfed.

you can go for a year without it if you are breast-feeding the baby.

It’s normal if you’re nursing your baby 
I got my period when my baby was 5 months old.
