where do you shop...

for jeans?

whats the best type/brand/style for people who dont really have hips but slightly fattish curvish

i cant seem to find anything nice.. plus i have the shortest legs.. ive realsied those flared pants are so not right for me.. but silly me still went and bought a pair

soo.. what do u recommend.. levis, lees, satch etc…??

jeans are not for our kind :k:

I just got some jeans from Guess. I never in my life thought I'd fit into them, but they actually look quite decent. Levis are good too.

the truth hurts :teary1:

mehnaz.. hmm ive never tried quess either.. i was gonna check out riders, but lets see.. (mate u underestimate urself… ur hot!)

get a shalwar made out of the denim cloth u all. :p

^ they’re alraedy out… but i dont like them. I think they make my thighs look big(ger) :bummer:

I don't think it's as bad as you are making it sound Sadzzz. Just try on every type of jean out there. I've been looking for a nice pair of jeans for the past month and I finally found them this past weekend.

Try on absolutely everything .... EVERY BRAND!

well i have like no waist, and my hips aren't that big either..but i wear Gap and Express...their jeans are the best!

I shop at GAP or Old Navy.

It's like searching for the Holy Grail sometimes. But when I do find the perfect pair - which are currently Earl jeans - then I buy a couple of pairs at the same time because you can never track them down at a later date.

^ that is very true… if only they made jeans for people with short legs..

mehnaz, ur right… its not as bad as i make it out to be.. im such a drama queen

I have to also add that you should never shop at places that will give you a complex about your figure. There's this store we have here called Zara, i'm not sure if it's a national or international clothing store. They have amazing jeans. Anyway, it's like they've added on 12 extra numbers to the size one would normally wear. So of course, it makes you feel self-concious and much bigger simply cause of the number. Personally, if the clothes size is going to nag at my self-esteem and make me feel fat, I won't shop there for anything.

^ must be international .. we have it here too ...but I found them to be of xtra small rather than regular size.

at one time i stopped wearing jeans..because i couldn't find my size..ladies had bigger sizes and girls jeans had small waist.. i couldn't find my size often in petites but now i do. So i am sure sadzz you can find one too..

Usually i look jeans in petite section..after trying lots of types..i think that the jeans that have sizes like 30/32 P instead of 6/7 P were better in terms of length and fitting.

i normally wear long shirts..and i think they go fine with flared jeans..

I personally think that now everyone can look good in jeans coz of the spandex that's used in the material of the making..they are more comfy and stretchable now.

Sadzzz I just sent you a pm and didn't work because your inbox was full :(.

Both Zara and Mango are originally spanish clothing labels and although the clothes are lovely the sizing does tend to come up rather small. Spanish girls must be mega skinny or something.

ooh so sorry belle.. ive cleaned it out now.. our isp wasnt working lastnight, so wasnt able to log on and delete things :frowning:

hmm i actually think mango clothes are arrite.. although i do end up buying the largest size.. they end up fitting ok after u wear the item once/twice

i ended up buying Rider jeans.. they’re a bit tight at the moment, but i hope to stretch them out this weekend whilst bush walking :k:

mehnaz, i went to Guess but they had all those skin tight jeans at the moment.. :frowning:

My wife says, 7 or earl are good.

I say, old school levis and John V

Roman says, Jordache and Sergio Valente.

Parasuco jeans… and mavi

dont you have Just Jeans in Melb??????????????????????????

I dont mind Levis but my absolute fav are Lee Riders. I always end up spending an hour atleast trying all of em on before deciding on just one.

7 by Levis suck. Big time.
