or dont have a nail clipper and just bite them off? 
I do mine straight into the bin or sometimes on my computer table over a napkin and then carefully throw them in the bin.
ohh and did anyone ever had to deal with the evil coz you did’t discard your nail properly? (stories from elders)

When we were growing up, we clipped our nails in the restroom sink and then washed the nails away.
Now, I get them done.

i bite them off when it comes to the finger nails... and for the toes , cut them anywhere really and carefully throw them into the bin

mai to tab nakhun cut karta hoo jab film dekh raha hota hoo and saray nails pocket mai dal leta hoo nad bad mai bahir pheck deTa hoo. aksar aisa hi hota hai. bass kabhi kabhi kahi aur cut kiye hongay mai nay nakhun apne.

I cut my nails in my garden, and get rid of them very easily....!

I cut it in front of TV placing the whole newspaper or some bad clothe in front and then throw all nails in the backyard.

I read somewhere (islamic book!?) that nails should be buried and not thrown away but dont know whats the logic behind it.
You two seem to be doing sth close to that. so is it sth religious for you?
