The hallmark of Pakistani immigrants to the west has been the superb (perhaps overstated) education their children have/are recieving. Many are becoming in-demand professionals like doctors (specializing in neuro surgery, cardiology, ENT, endodontics, periodontics, oral and max surgery etc, etc) lawyers, engineers, politicians, etc.
These professions have the capability of having a drastic impact on society and its multiple dimensions.
I’m wondering what impact do you all see 2nd or 3rd generation Pakistani-professionals of the west having in the next 60-70 yrs? Will we conform to the current day culture and society of the west or will we be able to bring about a change to it that exudes a Pakistani flavour?
