Where do I move to?

Re: Where do I move to?

do you want to study for a career ....do you plan to create music?

Re: Where do I move to?

I pan to create music and I plan to design clothes. But the business side of me wants to study for hotel management and above all leadership management.

Re: Where do I move to?

you sound rather confused...
i think trying to decide between Canada and the Uk is the least of your problems.
hope it goes well for you.

Re: Where do I move to?

sorry what do you think?

Re: Where do I move to?

You sholud move to iNDIA to bangalore or something. You will havea good career and might actually fulfill your dream of becoming a customer services representative. The Call center industry is booming there and the training theyprovide could make you a worthwhile commodity when Indian companies invest in Pakistan.

Re: Where do I move to?

removed some posts, however left the above ^ one, cuz I think that one contributed to this thread neutrally.

TNW, by badmouthing someone solely cuz he is Indian you actually were derailing your own thread.

Re: Where do I move to?

whats leadership management?

Re: Where do I move to?

Mr. NeSCio, would you be kind enough to remove these shades and take a few minutes to read my post again? Okay, if it is too much of work to scroll down above, here 'm pasting it in BOLD:

TITLE: Where do I move to?

Canada or UK?

Education is a bit cheaper as compared to the UK. Is that correct? I’d like to study and work. But I’ve heard you cannot find a job without fluent French language. Is that correct?

Education is comparatively expensive in UK.

So where is it easier to live. In all terms. Can I have some sensible opinions, phuleeez?

NOW, would you be kind enough to tell me in a few or more words how the post # 25 related to my inquiry? Cant you see clearly which places I’ve inquired about? I mean JUST TELL ME why this irrelevant post about INDIA posted by an INDIAN is related to my query??? I DID NOT ask what I can do/where I can move to further my career. My question clearly stated what kind of info I needed about two places which are UK and CANADA. Nowhere in my post did Im ention INDIA! Do I have to teach you your job? And how does post # 23 help me? It says:

“i think trying to decide between Canada and the Uk is the least of your problems.”

I did not ask in my initial post what “my problems” were. I inquired for some info which I have not been provided. I thought I was being inquired about what courses I wanted to study in order to give me some info on where I would be able to find colleges offerring those courses but it actually WASNT. You could have still let those unyielding posts there if I had no objection on it. But after severel requests, you somehow manage to erase them (Oh thanks so much for your favor  ) and that too incompletely.

Now, ARE you going to perform your job and erase irrelevant posts from this thread? I had opened this for some genuine info.

I hope I do not have to repeat myself. Thank you.

Re: Where do I move to?

The new wannabee I think you have read some negativity in my post where was none intended.

Re: Where do I move to?

TNW,

each day there are numerous threads opened on GS. It would be very naive to think and to hope that all threads will solely focus on the topic at hand. Sometimes they derail totally, sometimes info is added that is not directly linked with the first post, but that can contain good information. This info need not necessarily be informative to the author of the thread, but can be to other persons participating in the thread. Such has been the case in your thread. Although the post by PD might not have been of much value to you, it did give insight into the considerations one may make when thinking about where to go for job/study. The advice PD gives you might not be what you wanted, but I'm sure that someone else might have found it very interesting. However, this on itself wasn't enough to split it and make it a new thread.
As a posted you should know by now that you can expect a lot of info and dis-info (if I may use this made-up word). It is skill from the author's side that he/she distills from it the info that is directly related to him/her and disgard that which is not directly related to him/her but might be of benefit to others.

With respect to the post by l_d, I at first sight didn't think it had any ill intentions. If you feel that it was, you might first want to clarify it with her/him, before asking me to remove. Because if indeed l_d had some ill intention I will not hesitate to remove it.

Thanks for your consideration.

Re: Where do I move to?

TNWB you are (...)..isn't this what you said "Id most probably be looking in customer services, call centres. Will they require French language for that? "

India has 45% of global marketshare of offshoreable work, including Canada. that is why your rant is illogical and reeks of pent up frustration stemming from your pea sized Paki brain. Ullu!!

Re: Where do I move to?

perhaps I should clarify

“the least of your problems” is a type figure of speech or colloquiallism(i wish i could spell)

you asked for information, I asked for the type of courses you were interested in…i was expecting you to say something like Im interested in … I thought perhaps that you would have 1 or perhaps 2 subjects in mind, subjects that are similar

you see when you spend a good few years of your life moving to a new country, undergoing upheaval, working hard for your future I thought that at least you would have been focused on your career path and would have known exactly what you wanted.

I agree that these are all presumptions on my part.
I do apologise if I caused you any upset in what I wrote.

Re: Where do I move to?

Re: Where do I move to?

TNW why don't you look at universitites in which you are interested and email them any questions you have regarding their programs? I think that would be easier for you, and might actually help you in deciding exactly which career choice you wish to make.

Good luck. :)

Re: Where do I move to?

Move to Saudi Arabia

Re: Where do I move to?

.

..

TNW, prefer the place where you have some known person.

Re: Where do I move to?

^

See that’s what I mean. They are coming here to have fun not to asnwer my question.

I have some friends in UK so have more info about that place than Canada. Some of my relatives and dad’s friends are in Canada but I dont have contact with them. I’ll have to check with my father.
