Where did this bowler vanish ?

There used be a player in the Pakistan team named MUHAMMAD AKRAM.
He appeared to be a pretty decent bowler. Anyone has any ideas, where he vanished.

He was a medium pacer and was given many chances but couldn't retain his position in the team. If I remember it correctly, he lost his position to Azhar Mahmood who is indeed a better bowler and can bat too.

No need to miss Mohd. Akram.

Some1, chahiyay? :)

Azhar Mehmood being a better bowler than Mohammed Akram...I dont think so

Mohammed Akram was a genuine pacer, unlike Azhar. Imran Khan said he was one fast bowler who would serve Pakistan well in the future. As we all know that no one has a better eye for search of talent than Khan Saheb.

Muhammad Akram was just another regular Pakistani fast bowler, if he was part of any other team, he would have been their front line bowler.

India for example, Mohd. Akram would be certainly better than our Nehras and the Agarkars.... who run faster than the bowl they deliver.......

Nehra and Agarkar run faster than the bowl :hehe:

the guy had some really good movement in his bowling....
was quick too....
but had no control on the swing....
most of his deliveries wud turn out to be wide-balls cuz he got the ball to move so much....
his away swingers even had the keeper in trouble cuz they had to jump a lot of distance to reach the ball....

lolll

Mohameed Akram has joined Custom Police of England and plays for his department. He has also settled in the Britain for good. Last time he was picked to be a part of pakistan's junior team to visit colombo. But he refused to play for Pakistan any more. Good luck to him :)

The guy had too many chances and never took advantage. He was given repeated chances in 00-01 season. He was played in test series in Srilanka where he failed, then he was given another chance on the tour of Windies and never did anything special, even after he was continiously played in Sharjah and Bangladesh one day tournaments but never did anything special.
