HOW COME you have SUCH hypocritical sponsors on this board such as ones advertising gays etc these are sponsors right> so that ok? but me asking a reasonable questions reg marriage was seen us soft porn almost although no such words were mentioned from me. i was insulted by some mods who thought my questions was ridiculoous yet here we are being bombarded with gay and lesbian sponsors,
any explanations please

all the ads I see are for calling Pakistan, or pakistan wedding. Sometimes an "offensive" ad will pop up but you have hte option of ignoring it. Admin can perhaps shed more light on advertisements.
No one called the thread a "soft porn", so where are u getting that from?
Which mods insulted you in that thread exactly, and who called it a "ridiculous" thread?
As my memory serves, the thread was removed b/c
a. No one was taking the topic seriously
b. plenty of mudslinging, and you took part in it as well.
In the future, if u have any inquiries, either PM the mods (myself, Angel Eyes, Mamaof3) the director (TLK) or, as a last resort, post in Feedback please.

I'm not a tech expert so i dont know how these ads work, but different ads pop up on the page each time u refresh your page. Right now, i see an ad for calling Pakistan, next page i visit will perhaps have an ad for matrimonials. My advice is you stop taking the ads so personally and ignore htem.

Being familiar i do know how these google ad.s work, and why each types r there.
However I have also noticed the same thing. Sara these r not those porn or casino ad anoying pop-ups we r talking about.
Many a time in relationship/marriage thread i also do notice gay google ad.s on the side and they really make me sick- and Gives g.s a bad image.
The ad.s can differ from country to country i suppose.
Me and Nadz r both in the U.K, mayb thats y i think we get same ad.s.

This kind of question comes up quite often, and the end result is always the same, thread gets locked. It's ok to talk about everything else on this forum, but as soon as some confused person inquires about the most "sacred" night of our culture, it is against moral and religious beliefs.

maybe if people did a simple search before asking such a question? half the ppl who open these threads (not u nadz) are not really "confused" and are just getting thier kicks out of it
wedding night/asking about wedding night is not against any religious/moral beliefs.
A thread of this typ will normally get locked when:
a. either the original poster has disappeared while everyone else is busy discussing it
b. the original poster himself is going off topic.
If a thread remains, people complain, if a thread is removed people will complain. its how we roll eh :@:

Guys, this concern of yours is duly noted however if you search the feedback forum, this issue has been answered many times. A part of the website expense is supported by Google ads. The way Google ads work (this is my understanding) is that it picks some relevant key words from that page and based on its built in intelligence, throws an ad that might have an appeal for the posters.
If you guys dont want Gay ads, stop mentioning the word Gay on this website. Thank you.
rest assured, Azkar is already aware of this issue and looking into it
