Where can I get fun emoticons (without getting viruses?)

I really love some of the smileys here and some I have seen around the net. But how do I get some for my msn messenger?

I am looking for a few in particular:

*A jhootha

*the smiley smacking his forehead

  • a shovel (for when people need to dig themselves out of a hole!)

  • a hug

  • stupid idiot (i dont know what that looks like but i use this a lot!)

and a lot of the smileys here!

How do i insert such emoticons into my msn messenger? Currently, the only way I know how is to have a friend with an emoticon and use the 'add' feature.

If I want to use some of the smileys here on GS for example, how do I do go get them onto the messenger?

You add them just as well if they're saved on your computer.

Click on emoticon/smiley icon in your messenger.
Click Show All
Click Create on the right hand side.
Click Find Image (that would be your saved emoticon)
Locate the emoticon, double-click, and it's added.
Now all you have to do is name it whatever you want to name the smiley.

You're done. :D

PS: This is the example of msn messenger. I'm sure you can add on other messengers the same way as well.

Thanks so much! I actually discovered this just before reading this message...but now I have a hard copy in your answer for when I forget..for the millionth time!
