Where can I get a English translation of the Quran?

You can find a copy of the Quran in English anywhere really, however since I have read the Quran in English its not the same as it is in Arabic. It loses its essence.

If you don't want to go to a bookstore, then try a local Masjid. Most Masjids in the West have copies of Qur'aan with english translations and should give one to you for free.

Just ask.

what does that mean to Muslims that only speak English or Spanish or any language other than Arabic?
