Where can I get a decent tava? :)

Basically, yesterday making something in the oven, I left the two tavas we have in the oven (unintentionally of course, I didnt see them). The one with the wooden handle’s, handle has been burnt to a crisp - alot like charcoal. The one with the plastic handle was on top so the plastioc has melted and got stuck to the top of the oven!!

My mom, I thought would scream at me when she found out, but I think she had that retired look on her face, and dismissed it lol.

I want to pay my dues and get a good tava for her. I know its an odd question, but yeah, where can I buy a tava.. preferably online.. as I would look funny going into my local shop buying one

Re: Where can I get a decent tava? :)

I can imagine the smell coming out of the oven next time to turn it on - good Luck :)

if you have an indian store nearby you should be able to easily find a Tava there. You can also try World Market if you are in the US to see if they might carry it.

Go to an Indian grocery store. Its best to buy it at the store than ordering online. You'll know what you are getting. Maybe you can take your mom with you and she can pick the one she likes.
