Where can I buy in the UK...

Hi

Just been reading nadz and other threads on Glycolic & Salicylic Acid peels and really want to try but have no idea what brands and where to buy.

Anything on Amazon.co.uk or other places in the UK?

I’d be going for a 30 to 40% one

Re: Where can I buy in the UK…

I bought my stuff from here, I think nadz did too Bravura | Glycolic Acid Chemical Peel | Salicylic Acid Products | Lactic Acid Chemical Peel | Buy Glycolic Acid Products

Re: Where can I buy in the UK...

Thanks Stoppit.. Which one should I get Glycolic or Salicylic.. I have lots and lots of blemishes ans scars on my face :(

Re: Where can I buy in the UK...

Alright. I'm getting 30% Lactic Acid peel+neutralizer and brush.

Re: Where can I buy in the UK...

Or may be I'll just get the night cream.....I'm kinda scared of these peels.

Re: Where can I buy in the UK...

Catskin, the 30% lactic peel is supposed to be pretty mild and used as per Paheli's instructions should not be a problem. But yeh, my sister is using the night cream and it's working. Again, try to follow Paheli's instructions for it as she recommend me... I will try to find the post.

Confi - From everything Paheli has written, I would start with Lactic acid and give your skin time to get used to it. Then go on to Glycolic. As you may have read from nadz posts... when it gets a bit aggressive (when she experienced 'frosting'), it can be scary but when the skin heals the scars are obviously lightened. If you are more careful, the same thing will happen... just takes a bit longer. Paheli has explained lots of times how to start the peels; how much, how often etc.

Nothing is overnight. There is no point doing this if you're just going to try once or twice and then give up. You need to make it part of your routine and then also make sure you follow the guidelines for moisturising afterwards and using SPF. I prefer oils, specifically rosehip. Paheli has mentioned argan oil.

Re: Where can I buy in the UK…

Just placed the order for Lactic acid peeler (30%) and the SPF cream…:e6:

I have some acne marks on my chin, freckles and sun burnt cheeks, large/open pores, blackheads and some blemishes. I can hide everything with make up but I’d love to have clean and and smooth skin. Lets see if it works.

Re: Where can I buy in the UK...

hareem - do you use the rosehip oil i gave you regularly? and by regularly i mean twice a day? it is really good for the freckles and sun burn.

good luck with the lactic acid.

Re: Where can I buy in the UK...

I finished the bottle a while ago :D...I'm gonna go and buy some more on weekend. It was pretty good...better than any moisturizer to be honest.

Re: Where can I buy in the UK...

Rosehip oil as a moisturiser?

Re: Where can I buy in the UK...

Yes confi - this is what I have been using for a year now. Usually twice daily. It's amazing. It does fade pigmentation a bit faster than if you were using regular products. But if you have quite dark and deep pigmentation, then peels will really speed up the process.

Oh and if you are doing peels, you do need to moisturise well afterwards, for which rosehip oil is a great option. Don't forget the spf too.

There are some threads about rosehip oil already.
