The gang rape of a first year student of PTC College in Patan has brought out dark side of the teaching profession. The teachers raped the girl students several times forming a gang which can put to shame even lesser educated people in the society.
They raped her several times. It was a kind of sex game for the gang of six. They would decide their turns to rape the girl through draw system. One of them was assigned the task of filming the operation. It is just to keep the mouth of the victim shut.
What is a shocking fact is that one of the rapist teachers, Dr. Atul Patel has been awarded best teacher award by the state government. Patel is said to be quite close to Revenue Anandiben Patel who is former Education Minister and represents Patan in the State Assembly.
The incident shocked the family of Patel so much that his wife and mother tried to commit suicide. However, details of the suicide attempts were not being confirmed by the local administration.
It is learnt that a member of National Women Commission is visiting Patan tomorrow to hear all concerned people in this case.

the second sentence makes it sound like they did it to more than one student? or it might be a typo. Anyways that is pretty bad. Humanity is becoming more cruel by the day.
Just a few days ago there was a news report that a person who saw an accident on the highway in the middle of nowhere stopped to help out but one of the guys involved in the accident stole the poor fellow's car and drove away. And a couple of weeks before that, a guy got beaten to a pulp when he stopped to help out a broken down vehicle. As he got out of his car, three guys jumped out of the parked vehicle, which wasn't broken to start with, and started beating the guy up. Who would stop to help out after hearing such incidents?

is just gratuitous detail. Any kind of gang rape is sick, any description of it beyond that is catering to the pervert crowd. reminds me of the sickening sensualization of rape you sometimes find in bollywood movies.
