‘OMG is this real?’ That was my first thought @SID_NY haha. Everyone should visit Paris (at least) once in their life.. Everything was so beautiful because of the Christmas decorations everywhere. The Eiffel tower has glimmering lights but that only happens during the first five minutes of each hour, couldn’t take a good pic cuz we were already leaving at that time

Yes @SID_NY I live in the Netherlands so it was almost a 5 hours drive

It was -38C here with wind chill, I guess we were colder than antarctica, when I tried opening my plastic folder with car insurance, it broke in two.

sorry but Paris is the most over rated city if EU

nothing speical to be honest it all looks good in pictures and movies and in reality its so dirty

Thats interesting. But I think its the charisma that it has created in everyone's mind and that also could be coming from tons of poetic literature etc posing it as a city of love and romance. So it just ends up with how your mind (& heart) want to see it.

Talking about cleanliness, I think NYC is one of the dirtiest cities. But again it attracts all the tourists based on its known monuments like statue of liberty, times square, central park etc.

I agree. Most major cities in Europe are much cleaner than Paris. The only reason I still go there, is the fact that my wife has relatives who live in that city.

From all what I’ve heard, Dallas has taken a huge turnaround and is a big hub of IT jobs and all. So there gotto be some development as well.

Fairly affordable cost of living and bustling economy…yes

Great real estate market…absolutely!

I agree. Most major cities in Europe are much cleaner than Paris. The only reason I still go there, is the fact that my wife has relatives who live in that city.
