Failed leadership and long time failed FP are the root causes. Pak can recover, but with the harshest decisions needed. Turn inwards, eastwards and detach from the US.

Means to the eastern world, ie not the western world which we have sucked up too for no benefit.
ME, China, SE Asia....the region is large.

Pakistan needs to improve its relations with India as well apart from ME, SE Asia, China, ...The is inevitable for it to consolidate its economy, politics, etc.

In international arena, relatinships are based on needs, strength and most importantly how a particular country can safegurad interest of others.
India is not a saint or a peace loving country, infact India is somehow directly and indirectly responsible for misery of todays Pakistan. Why should India imporve their relations with us? on what level and what will India get... untill that no grounds for relationships can be identified.
Same Applies to other countries...
So need of today is, we should have economical stability which will follow once we are politcially stablized.
We need to formulate strategies for our national interest... the earlier we learn this, the better it is.
What exaclty Pakistan need is :
1) Stop being defensive.
2) Blame others openly for the terrorism acts ( same as others do)
3) Hire a propoganda machinery ( assembles one for the long term use) and propogate How India, Afghanistan and others are interffering and sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan.
We are heading towards a future where the Rs. 5000 currency notes will have pictures of Zardari, and Rs. 1000 Altaf (waste of ink).

Now that you have mentioned, Y are we naming cities/airport after her name, I mean what was here accomplishment for Pakistan, She got the chance to play her part and all she did is made money for herself only.
She was undoubtly one of the most corrupt leader of South Asia, so is that the reason we are naming things after her name.

However, this may not end.
In future when Pakistani people elect Bilawal as PM / President he may name places / airports after Mr Zaradari.....:D
