Re: Where are we heading?
Good to see you
1999 - We suffered from pressure no other country in the world has ever come under. Billions of dollars thrown our way, promises of support and future aid and god knows what else. We still went ahead with our national interest. We suffered for it and by 1999 we were considered a failed state.
We bounced back for a few years.
2008 - Again considered a fail state. In a situation much worse than before? No. Not much worse than before. Just different. This time around we have issues linked to things that are not in our national interest. It is not in Pakistan's interest to be fighting in Bajaur. It is on our national interest first to define the Durand line. Define that. Then have NATO do their ****ing job and patrol the border on their side and us on our side.
I like it how all you wankers don't show a bit of back bone when it comes to Pakistan's sovereignty and national stature. We are going no where. There are enough people in this country who won't let that happen. No thanks to you doomsayers.
