Daily Jang of 15/7/04 reported that Karachi’s advocate Suhail Hamid who had filed a complaint with high court asking for rejection of Shaukat Aziz’s election papers from Tharparkar was missing for the last two days. As per his brother on Monday evening three police mobiles came to their home. Police entered the home that some Dakoos have entered the home. They took Advocate Suhail with them. In order to Mr. Shaukat Aziz get elected to National Assembly, the siting MNA Rashid Akbar Niwani was reportedly asked by the party to vacate his seat for. Aziz which he categorically rejected this demand (National 5 July 2004).
Same Jang on 17/7/04 reported that famous advocate M.D. Tahir Lahore has filed case in Lahore high court asking for rejection of Shaukat Aziz paper. Is M.D. Tahir still alive or some 10 tonnes heroine or stolen cow has been found from his home.
Since the above news items our brave jouranalism including those who claim telling “Kalima-e-Haq before Jabbar Sultan” and those who claim “where there is an injustice there it is” have even not cared to give any further reports if missing advocate Suhail has been found, out of his mind MNA refuding Rashid Akbar still is free and not in any case of cow theft and MD Tahir whose name at once or twice a week appears is still healthy as since then his name in newspapers has not been seen. Does anyone know the state of welfare of these three foolish people.
