Where are Pakistani and Muslim women in corporate America? As a consultant I have worked in numerous Fortune 500 companies and it really saddens me that I don't see many pakistani or muslim women anywhere.
There are tons of Indian women, Pakistani guys, even more Indian guys. I see this everywhere in Finance organizations, HR, IT. Yesterday I walked passed a senior VP who is a Indian and a female. Why can't this be us????
If all of them are becoming docs - please let me know. It will really make me happy!
Simple - there are 8 times more Indians in the world than Pakistanis, so obviously you will see more Indian women in Corporate America or anywhere else for that matter. Also added to the mix are different career choices (Medicine), societal differences etc.
