i think not extremism but these mod muslims are more of a threat top Pakistan and its existence, these people who want to ammend the Qur'an! the "mullahs" did not play n e politics but u people who only sit at home on pcs and criticize are the problem! many liek me and modern muslims liek ur selves said throw that 100k in US face but we all failed to understand thats what they had in cash available in Islamabad! every1 is doing what they can, Mullah, actors, the new Islamist ((imran khan) according to some modern muslims) every1 is so we need 2 just shut up and get 2 work!

I agree with this view. Nothing in this world comes for free - even the “aid” comes with enough strings tied to it, its generally not worth it. For example, Canada donated industrial fan to pakistan at one time for over $1mill. Little that anyone know that these fans MUST be built in Canada, fly over there and then only canadian techs can fix / maintain them. In the end it ended up costing Pakistan to have this aid.
If you look at the history of world, NO COUNTRY! absolutly none has achieved development through AID. Ever had a credit card? They give you bonuses too for having credit with them, its the same thing with AID. You carry balance with certain banks/countries for so much they give you a reward (such as aid) in return for making them richer

people belonging to every field or class r contributing...from artists to strict religious people...but we pakis have people like u who r playing blame game..
and ya from mullahs to moderates donators,no1 advertised his contribution towards relief

Mullahs are much better than the f****** following:
transporters- who increased prices of goods transport by 6 folds
traders- who increased te prices of clothes, blankets and tents
politicians- who wait for the cameras before delivering handful of aid material
and mullahs despite being poor and few have been much better organized in their efforts.

When a Muslim does good, it is considered proper not to make a big deal of it. It is understood that things are being done...
When people in the West do good, they NEED to at least have a headline story on CNN, otherwise people start asking "what's so-and-so doing about this?".
Problem with mod-Pakis is that they, while sitting in the luxury of their mansions, is that they don't get out and SEE for themselves who is doing what. They hear one story in the paper about such-and-such Mullah saying something bad agianst the US, and all of a sudden all Mullahs are bad.

They discourage family planning, saying it’s against the laws of Allah. The reason why Pakistan registered 0% growth in living standards in the 1980s was because of the rapid population growth.

Hey people, look here learn some wisdom from our pakistani 5 year old adults demanding 'democracy'. They way to economic progress can ACTUALLY happen by making people STOP BREEDING and not by
- Spreading education to the masses
- Not by making the nation work their @ss off instead of lazying around in the government/personal offices.
- Not by developing more skilled people
- Not by eliminating corruption
- Not by teaching people to pay their taxes
- Not by taking measures to make sure the tax money is used up in building the country and not by accumulating in the politicians pockets for attaining luxurious lives.
- Not by making education compulsory on the entire nation
- Not by building more and more schools in ALL the parts of Pakistan so all the poepl have access to technical/IT education.
- Not by forgetting about the differences.
- Not by motivating people to progress.

I think there needs to be a clarification. Those people in the jamaat etc doing the charity work arent really mollahs. They are workers of a political party, just like PPP and PML. And the Jamaat has always been very active and good on gathering donations and doing charity work, whether they use it properly or not is another issue, but they are certainly active, no doubt about it.
