I'm pretty sure the pink slips will be flying today...I'd start with the entire secondary...on the fence about Garrett....not ready to write off Romo though....
The Mavs...it's such a different roster this year, was totally stoked about getting Odom....but so far...meh! It's still early, hopefully the Mavs will get back in their groove, time will tell...

i live in milwaukee, so a huge packers fan. these idiots who say brees is mvp are crazy. ok he had more yardage but rodgers threw less interceptions and his team record is better. only team i fear is saints and only packers can beat the packers. and khattitc you guys are one person away from a good team and thats jerry jones giving up his GM seat

Of course he's not going anywhere, but keep in mind these same hard headed tactics led him to fire Landry, which ended up working out pretty well. I do think he needs to butt out though.

I remember well the firing of Landry..it was like a dagger through the heart! '89 season when we were 1-15 was brutal (but hey, at least we beat the Redskins!). My family had season tickets for the Cowboys from 1989-1996 (aka The Glory Years!). I grew up in Texas Stadium. Now matter how awesome Cowboys Stadium is (and I admit, it is a masterpiece) it's just an homage to Jerry's ego. It's lacking the heart and soul that made the Cowboys America's Team. But we all know where Jerry's bottom line is....the biggest, bestest, shiniest, playground....until he gets his head out of his ass, nothing will change.
Back to Texas Stadium....The '93-'94 NFC Championship game with the 49'ers....was there! '95-'96 NFC championship game vs GB...there! Infamous Ice Bowl on Thanksgiving Day against Miami Dolphins in 1993 with Leon Lett's famous blunder on the yard line...saw it live...yes, my uncles and I were in that crowd of only 18,000 freezing our tush's off...lol...so you can see, I literally bleed blue and silver. That is why I am a firm advocate for calling in the big guns and cleaning house! Terrance Newman needs to go. Now. The entire secondary was so god awful this season, it hurts.
I'm also still in Romo's corner..here's why (butting him up against Manning just for arguments sake, given last weeks debacle against the Giants):

2011 Romo – 64.7 cmp %, 5.2 TD%, 2.1 INT%, 7.9 Y/A, 97.3 QB Rating
2011 E. Manning – 62.4 cmp%, 5.2 TD%, 2.5 INT%, 8.3 Y/A, 96.0 QB Rating
Manning makes the Pro Bowl (granted he's had his best season ever!) and Romo doesn't. Another reason to hate the national media who have brainwashed everyone to believe that all the Cowboys failures are directly related to Romo and anytime the Giants lose it is their defense or Caughlin's fault.
Still on the fence about Garrett & Ryan....In a perfect world, I'd love to see Norv Turner come back as OC & Joe Avezzano back on Special Teams....hahahaa...I can dream, can't I!?!?!?

Romo is good. really good. packers and cowboys are comparable if you think about it. only thing is aaron might be better than romo. but i can say cowboys defense is better. but at the end packers have really good back up guys. and thats all up to the GM. im not saying jerry should sell his team. just give up his GM stat. by the way how stupid are the chargers? cleary norv isnt good coach at all. good offense coordinator.

Agreed…Norv as a head coach= no bueno…as an OC…AMAZING!!
Jerry is a businessman, it’s all dollars and cents…which makes sense, no problem there..but as we all know, as a GM he sucks ass. 1 person cannot do it all, nor should they.

Yeah surprising game. But it's not just Tebow, their defense has stepped up big time.
As for Romo vs Eli, a superbowl ring cures all. It's the reason Terry Bradshaw is ranked up there in the top 10, and Aaron Rodgers "couldn't win the big one". Hell, Brady is considered Mr. Clutch but get this: he's been one and done for the past three years in the playoffs, and got absolutely demolished last year. Some might even say he choked (it's a lot harder without a top rated defense isn't it?).
Superbowl rings do a lot for perception.

denver is going get their butt whooped. steelers were hurt. you could say their top 4 defensive guy were out and they are old. why doesn't anybody give thomas credit for the run. the stiff arm was nasty. GB vs NYG and saints vs 49ers should be really good. other two games not good at all. Aaron Rodgers is fresh and ready to leash is championship belt out

Loved the way 49ers stopped Drew Brees and their defense. That was one heck of a game.
