According to moonsighting.com it would be on December 8, 2008. Because youm ul Hajj is on December 7,2008.

I trust them , but unfortunately the masjid I go to does not that is why we celebrated eid on a day when moon was supposed to be seen. The later Waxing and wanning of moon proved that, I went out on September 13 to see if it is full moon , but it was not , it was full on September 14th.
So we missed out on one roza and celebrated eid on a wrong day.
I live in USA and I am talking about visibility of moon in North America.
Now there is a new controversy about Eid ul Adha , people say that whenever the Haj has been completed in Saudi Arabia we should celebrate Eid ul Adha irrespective of when moon was seen in the country you live in.

On friday prayers they just told that its gona be on 8th Jan.
