There are situations that are not so clear, but this is not one of them. Your parents are being idiots. Tell them how it feels, then ignore them. Spend time and have fun with your sister instead.

OP, I agree with Reha. Enjoy your sister's good news. She is nice to you. I remember when I became a Khala I was so so so Happy. I skipped school and stayed outside my sister's room for as long as her delivery was. Don't worry what others are saying about you. What they are saying or not saying won't make a difference. Pray to Allah, IA you'll be asking in Parenting section soon how to beat pregnancy nausea :)

Do not ignore them, make them reflect and correct their behaviour. Its terrible, and you should tell them exactly how cruel and immature they sound and you feel seriously hurt as a result. Today its you, tomorrow it could be someone else from your family going through the same torture.

Woho. I don't even know what to say to this. What kind of a family would give such a reaction?! I am sorry if i am being harsh but its beyond me to understand how anyone can be this way with their own kid. It's not a race and its not even in your control so where the hell did this competition come from?!
It's really sad. But you don't give it much thought though i know its easy said than done but look at the brighter side, you have your husbands and your inlaws support.
