When you think you've got nothing...

This young boy should be at a stage of his life where he’s mapping out his future. Not in a morgue trying to identify the dead face of a loved one. What are the chances in five years we are going to see him disguised as an Orthodox Jew, step into a bus, and calmly detonate himself ? Rather high, i think. His actions will not have occurred in a vacuum, we can trace it back to this day when he was sitting on the floor of a morgue weeping for his loved one.

Caption: A relative of one of the two Palestinian militants, shot and killed by Israeli forces in an off-limits military zone between Israel and the Gaza Strip, weeps in the hospital’s morgue shortly before their funeral in Gaza City Saturday March 13, 2004. The two militants, identified as Mohammed Haboush, 20, and Saed Mraesh, 20, from a small Gaza militant group called the Ahmed Abu al-Resh Brigades, were armed and were apparently trying to cross the fence to stage an attack when they were killed by the Israeli troops. I don’t want to be inconsiderate here but really every time I see such pictures it sickens me. Millions have gone through these phases while we either mourned for them or at the very least made our precious little prayers. And it’s beginning to sound stupid now.

Allah G....

*sigh

SKN, atleast it helps us realize the sufferings of many of our fellow Muslims. While we should thank to Allah for all the comfort we have, we should not stop feeling for our brothers and sisters in Islam. I think that the latter should be stronger than the former.

^ I’m not being ungrateful, its just the fact that these people are suffering for such a long time now and me, you or anybody in this whole world has not been able to change that seems very intimidating.

We need to keep trying, success will come InShaAllah.
