EMM: Introducing yourself in cafe does not necessarily mean you HAVE to be a multi of someone. It could also be a person who has been viweing this forum for a long time (6 months - 1 year) and becomes familiar with the forums and hence, knows where to open the thread to introduce him/herself.

from my observation thats what I have noticed 90% of the time

When I joined, hubby and I decided to keep it quiet as to who I was. It didn’t take too long to figure it out.

I started by introducing myself, and in that thread, many people warned be about someone called TLK.

GS was in its earlier days of development. I was searching for Official Pakistan Govt Website when I came across a page called TOPP, The Official Pakistani Page…

:D, yep that was the name of GS, back then .. TOPP.org or something

Filters of blocking unwanted images were not that advance back then and one of the thread had X-rated pictures posted in them (weirdos are weirdos, no matter when)

that thread was opend up the same day or a day before.

I got angry that how comes the site is called “The Official Pakistani Page” yet has obscene pictures posted in it.

I posted my first thread in ALL CAPS, bad mouthing Admins (as usual)

Muzna came back and rudely told me not to scream (refering to my ALL CAPS post).

I had a fiight with her and few others.

Six month down, I was the mod of religion section

i came in, introduced, and felt like such an outsider everyone had gangs (they/we still do) and WA was just mean! so was general. i was so scared of the unkils anyways, after i realized what GS did to my grades i vanished for a year, only to come back during breaks off. then a couple of summers ago i flooded to the max! and then stuck around. :halo:

i never opened an introduction thread... started in religion forum then moved to general then spent a few days in cafe... now a days spend most of the time in general but roam around and if i find something that i feel like replying to then that is where i post but mostly in general and shora-e-gupshup... was cautious back when i started and still am... try not to offend people nor pick fights
