no i wouldnt.
when i say that it depends on my relationship with my husband..i mean that if I feel that we have bonded well and have developed an understanding b/w each other as husband and wife than I’ll be ready to have children. Developing an understanding takes time…therefore there is no way i would have a child right away. If im not comfortable with my relationship with my husband (ie fighting all the time etc) im def not gonna have his kids until we settle some issues.

she wants to keep in mind how she and her husband get along, how well they know each other, what their lifestyle is like before they have a baby. there's nothing submissive about that...

In Pakistani culture and families (most of them), nobody gives a damn to what the bride and groom want, everyone including muhalley ki aunties keep bugging and keep asking about children plan and want them to have children so they could play with them 
I mean let the bride and groom make their own decision, stop pressuring them into it 
Yes, bachey Allah ki naimat hotey hain and I have this argument with my mom all the times. She says Allah gives you children, which is true, and he is the one who will give them and arrange for them their rizq, which is also true. But you have to use common sense and see whether you can afford a baby or not. You don’t wanna have a baby and then have no clothing, food, luxuries for it. Babies are not cheap, you know.

One of the reasons why our society is the way it is today, is because we have accepted it. Twenty years down the road, we do the same to our kids.

I missed post no 62 where AE explained her earlier statement. Sorry AE for that!!
Now i have read her post and got her point but i disagree with her a bit!!! To me there are 2 main reasons to delay pregnancy. First is what AE has said i.e. understanding and knowing each other but there is another reason at least to me which is spending some quality time alone!!! coz u are nerver going to get the chance to be alone … here alone means husband and wife and no one else. First few years are the one u gonna charish all your life why not last it long by avoidng pregnency??

It is, but unfortunately, that's how it goes among our desi community. Ofcourse there are exceptions.

u know imran having a baby is the most beautiful thing for a lady.when u get married to somebody u both have different life styles different preferrences,u have ur own life ur things,its all about u,but when a baby comes between husband and wife he/she is the only thing which they can say that its our baby.baby belongs to both husband and wife.Baby is a strong bond between husband and wife nad wat i really think that sensible men never get jealous of their baby and sensible ladies wont let them feel jealous,and after the baby the love between husband and wife get stronger.so i wud prefer to have a baby as soon as possible:blush:
