I am so glad you brought this up! I was thinking the exact samething when reading the “most romantic thing” thread. Some people seem to think it’s romantic when the husband ‘never’ says no to them. Or when he buys them things all the time. 
I find none of the above romantic. May be that’s not what they mean to sound like - but they definitely *do *sound quite typical.
