When we act a certain way e.g.:
- when we take out our anger on some one who we shouldn’t have
- when we try to hide things by lying
- when we have a lowe self esteem
- when we are not satisfied
- when we misbehave
- when we act not trust worthy
- when we back bite
- when we are in-tolerant to our parents or misbehave
- when we say stuff we shouldnt have
- when we are rude
- etc.
Do you think there is something religiously missing in us that we act so un-contended and intolerable? That if we are close to God we would probably be able to control our tempers better and act much more sensibly & responsibly?
Re: When we act a certain way -
yep..theres something missing in the deen
Re: When we act a certain way -
I think Allah has created human nature to have both positive and negative qualities. We're meant to make mistakes and even religion recognizes that human nature is not in a constant state. I think that it's a bigger deal of there being something "religiously missing" if you do not learn from their mistakes and try to make amends.
Re: When we act a certain way -
Sadly alot of people out there have forgotten Islam and people these days seem to wear it as a label, without practising it. For us all not to do any of the above things would mean perfection, obviously we all know that will not happen because we are humans at the end of the day. I think it's more about educating ourselves about Islam and that can be achieved by understanding the Quran and authentic Hadith. It all comes down to education and research - and not what you heard on t.v. the other day.
