When was the moment you realised you loved your Husband/Wife/Fiance/Spouse..?
When did you realise that he/she loved you?
Was it a sudden thing (like love at first sight) or was it a gradual thing…?
For me, I think it was a gradual thing. When I first met him, there was something about him that gave me butterflies in my tummy… but the more I got to know him, discovered how funny he was, caring, respectful… BOOM, that was it..!
I realised he loved me when he told me he hadn’t eaten roti yet and had been starving for the last 4hrs because he was waiting for my phone call, LOL… This from a guy who LOVES his roti and can’t go for more than an hour without thinking about or wanting food!
It was gradual.. but not that butterfly in ur tummy kind of love. It gradually started to increase and now i am at the point that i get butterflies in my tummy :) strange. We are married for a year now and my love is growing stronger for him :) He didnt have much feelings for me in the beginning but now he truly lovesssssss meee. He too has given up his breakfast many times on weekend waiting for me to getup to have breakfast together (sweeeet). Can't wait to love and be loved even more <3 inshallah
i wish i could have that mature love that happens when a couple is in their 60s-70s right now.
You know how old desi couples that have been married for 50 yrs are....so cute, the strength in their love is incomparable to any infatuation or 'love' we in the younger years feel right when we start caring for somebody
quite a gradual thing for us. after a series of misunderstandings, arguments, long distance, missing each other after the engagement it all led up to a sudden fall in love thingie right after our marriage AH :)
hmmm... Im not sure about my own love, but I knew he loved me when we had a humungous fight once and I was nearly quitting it all. At which point he was so angry that he was ready to swear on the Quran that he wasnt guilty of what I was hurt by. I asked him then if he loved me, this being a year into our Nikah, and he just looked at me too speechless for a moment. Then he recovered and said that sure he could swear on that too. :P
I didnt let him swear on either thing, but that proved it for me. And pretty much ended any fight. There isnt much you cannot work through when both parties are willing to work on it.
Mine was love at first bite , she made khana at her mother’s home I took my first bite , I liked it and then I decided that she is the one.
I am just kidding about bite and khana.
I saw her , I admired her and I proposed , proposal got accepted and we got married . We were engaged for a year before marriage , she told me in phone conversation after our engagement that she had crush on me and wished that that I propose for her.
May be this match was made in heavens.
