Yaar seriously from my experience, girls get the idea that the guy is into her very easily. My philosophy is that if a girl really considers you marriage material, she'll let you know that she's interested in a milliion different ways... usually subtle ones..
So if you're NOT getting any such hidden message, pray don't embarass yourself by proposing to her. Some of them are just waiting to reject guys and I even knew some who boasted of how many guys they had rejected.
So IMHO, the whole life is short... tell her stuff is simply BS. IF she's interested you'll know before actually proposing and if she's not you know that too. Its just those guys who are dumb enough to NOT see it coming that propose and get rejected.
you should do three things:
1) Believe in God that whatever happens is in the best interest of yours. And also agree to the fact that not all things are meant for us. Have faith in destiny. If she is to be yours she will be if not then no matter what you do you wont get her.
2) Tell her everything. How you feel about her, how much you want her in your life. Just tell everything. You have feelings for her and shes the most deserving to know it all.
3) Pray that you get her.

My father was always adamant that we sisters all had to marry a kashmiri,as any others just would not do, they couldnt be trusted, they are different, not as caring etc etc etc, funnily enough we all married non kashmiri's!!
Its an age old tradition where castes feel a bond with each other and see other castes as forbidden, if she wants you as much as you want her then it can happen, she just needs to influence her family though.

and mancunian..im so sorry to hear bout ur problem..but if she was on a marriage website...shes looking for marriage...so y didnt she only look for someone who she knew her parents would be happy with..? but anyway...u need to tell her how u feel cos life is too short and there isnt room for 'what ifs' u dnt want to regret not telling her...but u need to be sure u feel strongly...
i spke to her last nite she likes me but wont go against her parents will
