i work in pharmacy and yasmin seems to be a popular choice. it has a mild diuretic to counteract the puffiness you get from the extra hormones.
i know a few patients who use ortho-evra but it seems that they have to get a replacement patch every few fills. insurance only covers 3 patches every 30 days so they have to pay for the replacement patch out of pocket...it can get expensive if it falls off regularly but at least u don't have to take a pill everyday.
i feel like my body is at the perfect hormonal balance right now (like a decent figure, clear skin) so that's another one of the things i dread about getting married! ugh..
Anyway if u are unsure about which pill suits you go to wdxcyber.com. i have printed out one of the charts from there and posted it in the pharmacy, cuz it's really useful in advising patients.
