Okay so Im really dumb about this and need help on it…
Lets say intercourse happens on 1st of January when do you take a test? After 2 weeks? And periods are extreamly irregular they come once in 3months so theres no periods due date?
When would be definate date to check it to know if its BFN or BFP?

Have you seen a doctor about regulating your periods? Irregular periods make conception extremely tough. In this case, If your period is still mia, I would test maybe every week for 3 weeks, or better yet, get a blood test done at the doctor.

I was very irregular and randomly decided to check to see if i was pregnant (i had no signs, so morning sickness either.) I would say from intercourse wait at least couple of weeks. Take a home test and if positive thn go see a doctor. Stay healthy, keep healthy eating habits and stay away from things that can cause harm to the baby.

If your periods are irregular, I’d strongly recommend first using ovulation predictor kits - OPKs - to pinpoint your most fertile days. You get these in all pharmacies, and you can also order them online (cheaper!). Monitoring cervical mucus is another way of detecting your fertile window (lots of info on the web, look it up). It is more effective to time your pregnancy test based on when your ovulation strip turned positive (assuming you had intercourse soon after). You should take a pregnancy test 2 weeks after your OPK turned positive.
