When did you/would you start shopping for your wedding?
I’m getting married next yr in April inshallah so when would you say is the best time to start shopping? I don’t want to start too early as the fashion changes so much these days…
When to start shopping for wedding?
Start buying stuff that isn't clothes. So when your out and you see cute shoes get them and keep them. These odd buys will add up and finances will be spread.
I wish I had done this more but I kept putting t off. Didn't want to accept I was getting married (extremely happy with my fiancé so that wasn't the problem). I just don't like change I guess.

I started shopping soon after my baat pakki. The stuff I purchased was all for my jaheiz. So you should probably do the same, and bag a few bargains along the way. Things like makeup, hair products, etc. won't be going out of fashion, so it should be ok.

Well I've been engaged for almost 3years so if I started shopping then that would have been a but crazy! But I mean with things like clothes they do go out of fashion so when would you say is best to start buying clothes and be sure they'll still be in fashion for the wedding?

Lol. I knew I wasn't going to be engaged for that long, so I guess that's why I started my shopping early.
As for clothes, I'm going to be buying them about 3-4 months prior. And if the fashion changes in between then, then I'll cry, lol. But I don't think it will change tbh. It also depends on where you live. I live in the UK and fashion doesn't change too quickly here, so that's why I can do clothes shopping early if I wanted to.

Yea I liveliness the UK too, and it right about fashion not changing here quickly, intact I still know of people who are wearing the short kameez despite it going out of fashion around 2years ago! My concern is that I will be living in Pakistan for a few months after the wedding and everyone is quite conscious about fashion there
